Naruto and the others attempt to prove that Koumei is the one responsible for the ghost. However, what Naruto and the gang discover leaves even more mysteries unsolved.
Naruto, Neji, and Tenten go with Shishima to Mousou's house to get more information on what is going on. After a funny scene with Naruto and Neji they discuss what their next step will be. Neji decides that they must talk to Lord Sagi.
Shishima takes our three heroes to a place that he knew lord Sagi might come. After waiting a while, lord Sagi shows up. Neji senses something is wrong. He sees three assassins coming out from under the water and deflects their shots just in the nick of time. After chasing off the assassins, they try to talk to lord Sagi. He refuses to talk to them and Naruto gets mad. Shishima says that maybe once they uncover what is going on that maybe lord Sagi will change.
Neji decides that they need to shadow Koumei and see if they can gather some hard evidence showing that he is behind the ghost and the assassination attempt. They see Koumei leave his house and follow him to the building where they last saw the ghost. The ghost appears once again, but this time Neji senses that there is someone inside the armor. Naruto charges in (like usual) and attacks the ghost as Koumei runs off. The ghost starts a whirlwind and shields himself from Naruto and Tenten's attacks. Neji tells Tenten to keep the ghost's attention on her. As the ghost deflects all her attacks, Naruto pops up from under the ground and punches the ghost (just like he did Neji in the final match). As the ghost staggers back, Neji attacks. Once the ghost is on the ground Naruto goes to investigate. A puff of smoke comes out and then some green goo.
As our heroes return to report to Mousou and Shishima, the guards come and take away Koumei and arrest him for the assassination attempt. Neji says that there is still something going on. The first ghost they faced did not have a human presence and the second did.
