Shizune and her team encounter Mizuki, but all of them are defeated. When Ton Ton comes back to warn Tsunade, Naruto takes the initiative to find Shizune with Ton Ton's help.
The episode starts off with Naruto finding Asuma and Kurenai on the floor.
The medical team shows up and heals Asuma and Kurenai and the other ninja.
Ton-ton leads Shizune and the other ninja to Fuujin and Raijin.
Tsunade checks up on Asuma and Kurenai in the hospital. Naruto shows up and talks to Tsunade about something she said earlier connected to Sasuke and Orochimaru. Naruto runs off in hopes of rescuing Sasuke. Tsunade tells Naruto that he can't do it alone. Tonton shows up and tells Tsunade that Shizune is in trouble. Naruto tells Ton-ton to lead him to Shizune and Tsunade yells to Naruto to stop. Kakashi shows up with a few prisoners and Tsunade tells Kakashi what happened a second ago. Naruto runs with Ton-ton and Iruka spots him wondering where Naruto is running to.
Mizuki, Raijin, and Fuujin go to Tsubaki's house. Tsubaki pleads Mizuki to get uninvolved with Orochimaru. Mizuki decides he will get the ultimate power from Orochimaru. She hugs him and begs him to stop but he tricks her into thinking he was going to stop and knocks her out.
Tsunade gives Kakashi another mission. Iruka shows up after finishing his mission. Kakashi summons Pakkun on Iruka's hand and leaves. Tsunade then tells him the mission.
Naruto and Ton-ton find a jacket and Naruto hears something in the bushes. He attacks and finds out it is Iruka and stops. Pakkun greets Ton-ton and asks him if the jacket is the scent. Pakkun, Naruto, and Iruka follow the scent when Pakkun smells a prisoner. Pakkun leads them to Shizune with a jacket on top of her. She gets up and tells Naruto and Iruka that the other ninja are fighting Mizuki. Pakkun follows the scent and falls into a trap. A rock from above almost kills them but they dodge it. Iruka and Naruto then find out that Shizune was actually Mizuki. Mizuki attacks Iruka and he tells Naruto to run away from Fuujin and Raijin. Naruto performs Tajuu Kage Bunshin no Jutsu and attacks the brothers. Naruto's punches don't work and the brothers shrug off the bunshins.
