With the events of the Rice Field Country behind them, everyone prepares for their training, but a new threat soon arises. Remember Mizuki? He's back, and he's planning to break out of Konoha's Correctional Facility along with the help of two stupid fat brothers. However, this time Orochimaru may be pulling the strings.
Naruto gets up and takes the bandages off of his hands and gets excited about getting some training in. Sakura is now training to be a medical ninja and is working on a fish to try and revive it. Kiba and Shino have a short discussion as they go to get Hinata and Kiba find out that Shino is jealous he didn't get to go on their last mission. Neji and Hinata's father are training to get Neji stronger when Kiba and Shino come by to get Hinata. They leave to go and meet Kurenai to get some more training, especially Hinata. Choji is stuffing his face with barbecued meat and Asuma and Ino are amazed at how his appetite has come back. Choji wants to train after he gets through eating breakfast. Rock Lee is hard at his training. He has worn out Tenten and Gai. Shikamaru and the young trainees see Temari, Gaara, and Kankuro off. Shikamaru thanks the Sand Ninja for their help in teaching the kids. Temari gives Shikamaru a hard time before they leave. Kurenai, Shino, Kiba, and Hinata meet in the woods to further Hinata's training and build her strength. Naruto has finished packing and is waiting for Jiraiya when he hears him outside. Jiraiya tells Naruto that he has an important mission to attend to and leaves him with a training manual to study. He tells Naruto to open it in private. It is actually a trick to distract Naruto so Jiraiya can leave on his mission to find out more about the Akatsuki. The scroll is blank until the end where is says "willpower". Shizune brings Tsunade some paperwork for her to catch up on. The first one is about the Leaf Village maximum security prison. We see some scenes from inside the prison. The idiot brothers, Fuujin and Raijin, are shown and we also see Mizuki who slips a screwdriver up his sleeve. The idiot brothers break out of their cell in order to get some more food. They come across Izumo and demand that he give them some food. Izumo tries to put them off, but they start to get angry. Kotetsu shows up just in time to give the brothers some food and tells them to go back to their cell and that he would bring more food later. As the brothers walk back to their cell, they smell more food. Mizuki has gotten them some food and uses it and promises more in order to get their help. Tsunade finds a piece of paper that was in the prison file. It looks to be some kind of formula and she recognizes the handwriting. She summons Asuma and Kurenai to go to the prison and talk to Mizuki about the paper note. Naruto overhears what is going on and goes to the prison too. Asuma and Kurenai get there first and find that all of the prisoners are free and are defeated. Naruto comes along later and finds them and sees all the inmates are gone.
