After eating the Curry pill it seems as if Choji will win the battle, but Jirobo changes all this by unleashing his Cursed Seal Level 2. Now the tide has turned and it looks like it is the end of the line for Choji. Now he has only one option, take the red pill, which will ensure his death.
With little choices left, Choji takes the yellow pill. The team talks about how weak Choji is, but Shikamaru tells them that Choji is stronger than he looks. After taking the yellow pill, Choji seems to get the advantage. Choji does his Partial Multi-sized technique. He extends his arms and crushes Jirobo with his huge hand. Choji hit Jirobo again and sends him flying backwards. Then, Choji does the Ultra Multi-sized technique, and inflates into a huge balloon in the air. He then drops on Jirobo.
Jirobo is still alive from the body slam, and he turns into the second level of the cursed seal and tosses Choji's inflated body off of him. The side effects of the yellow pill start to kick in. Choji lying in pain, gets a flashback of when he first meets Shikamaru. There are kids playing hide and seek and split into 2 groups. Choji, who is slower than the rest, decides to hide with a teammate and gives away their hiding spot.
Back to the fight, Jirobo tosses Choji's body aside and his forehead protector comes off. Shikamaru starts worrying about his friend Choji and the flashback starts again. All the kids talk about how bad Choji is in hide and seek and they kick him out of the game. Shikamaru notices Choji walking away sadly. Choji walks up to the rooftop, where his dad gives him advice.
Back to present , Shikamaru and the others write marks on the trees, so Choji will know where to go. Then Choji goes to his last resort, and takes the final red Chili pill.
Back to the flashback, Shikamaru is led by a butterfly to Choji and his dad. Shikamaru tells Choji that he is sitting in his special seat (where he likes to look at the clouds). They both sit together and look at the sky together. Choji offers Shikamaru some chips, and they become friends.
Jirobo throws a big fist as Choji takes the final pill. Choji dodges the attack and appears behind him. Choji has two chakra wings like a butterfly.
Now a hundred times stronger, Choji easily knocks Jirobo aside. He focuses all his chakra into his left fist and slams it on Jirobo's body. Jirobo's cursed seal reverts as Choji limps over to grab his forehead protector. Then a butterfly catches his eye and he follows it. The butterfly leads him to the trees where the team wrote the markings. All his happy moments flashed before his eyes. Choji slowly sits on the tree and drops his forehead protector.
